OK, so I'm looking to do some work to my car over break and one of the projects I was thinking about doing was sound deadening the cab. The cab is just a little bit louder than I like and would like to quiet it up a little. I was looking through some of the past forums and people have given a lot of alternatives but no one has said what actually works best or what they have actually done.
I was possibly looking at B-Quiet ultimate, their replacement for brown bread, but I'd like to see what some other people think. How hard is it to install and how many sq ft would i need? I'd really like to just kill some of the engine/road noise since i do a lot of highway driving. |

Although I can’t say from experience, I hear that Fat mat is just as good, or better, and much cheaper

Make sure you do m2 layers or more, and that anything loose is padded so it doesn't rattle, etc

I used dynamat and it worked pretty well...I got it for a lot cheaper than I should of because of a cheap place we have around here...I still need a few more layers in certain places to stop all the rattles though. |
