no..the s13 weight isn't not quit 50/50, the s14 is 50/50 making it the best drift car i mine and most other drifters opinion..most people race s13's them because there cheaper...simple as that..and s13 sr20det is around 2k where as an s14 is more closer to 3k...kinda sucks..your buy close to a grand more for 15 more horsepower

It's just lighter and cheaper... but not quite as well-rounded as the S14...

QUOTE(25thcelica @ Dec 5, 2004 - 7:49 PM)
So I was coming home from work on saturday and there is a one lane mountain road that I use to get there.I take it all the time to go hom and out of nowere a 240 pulls up on my butt. so I hit the gas and so did he (it has been a while!). the road consistes of 6 back to back hairpin curves towards the end. when we hit those I said oh no I am finally going to see how good these cars are in the coners( I had not seen them in person). so I go in as fast as the celi will let me into the first turns. and the 240 gets on the side of me and I am like oh s**t he is going to pass me but infact he brakes before I do and I see him ( from my rear view!) taking the turns like a newbie and I lose him. then he catchs up to me and we end up talking at the gas station at the end of the road(me and him had no gas). anyway to get to the point he tells me he is into drifting and that he one of the best aound my are. here I am with a st front wheel drive and bald tires and I out handled a tune 240 with what looked like some who knew what he was doing(I tested his knowlege of course. I know I am not that good hell I need more pratice on moutain type raods but to me I should have been left in the dust don't you think? or is the 240 over hiped.

I heard the the ka motor in 240's are just nissan truck motors that they put in there cause they did not want to bring the car here with the ca18det or the sr20det. well as far as over hyped all the people I have talked to at school( mc rockville) say that they are the best drift car ever made. which I think is wrong cause I have seen volvos drift better than some 240's.( yes I said volvo my friend has a 78 and he takes it to drift events all the time!) oh and we were um how should I say down plyeirs mill road behind the fire station. my friends call that road the kensington mountain pass( I guess cause it is like a moutain) well this has gotten me intersted in road racing on the mountain roads. hmm I should try it smile.gif
