basically 2 solenoids, 2 poppers, and a brain unit or alarm capable of doing it.

your brain/alarm remote. You wire it to pop your door, doors, trunk, depending on how many channels you have.

well it needs to be hidden well - but yeah. My g/f had her handles shaved off in her old car, locked her keys in countless times.

I don't use a hidden switch. When I shaved my handles, I left the keyhole for the hatch there. Now if the battery dies I can still get in through the hatch.

QUOTE ^^ Smart! Rob, if you read this, do you remember how much they were shaving doors for at Carlisle? I don't remember people shaving door handles at carlise. QUOTE Could you put the safety button somewhere in the trunk? Save the hassel of climbing over. You can put that button anywhere you want. I thought about even rigging a way to open the hood from outside the car so I could jump the battery or hide the button in the engine compartment. I still might do that. |

I don't think you can put the trunk on it because I believe it uses a cable. This post has been edited by rob7796: Dec 9, 2004 - 12:32 PM |
