Ok, I was checking out celica.net in the buying/selling forum and i came across this

How in the F**K are you gonna take a supra rear end attach it to a tacoma tranny and attach that to a 3s-gte engine???

Why go from AWD, which you say isn't done yet, to RWD? In my opinion AWD would be better. And also you said that you got the awd parts from a 5th gen celica. Then you are still using your 6th gen gt suspension. And that you just put in the driveshaft. From what I have been told from various sources including Eric at E. L. Prototypes you have to swap in the floor from an st205 and only an st205 into a st204. if you do it from a st185 it will not fit. obviously because they are different cars. and as you have mentioned you also have to change the gas tank. What is the deal?? Have you done the conversion yet or not? I really think that you should post some pics even if it isn't done yet. Seriously not just because there are those who want to see it but so you can get people off of your back.

Doesn't a tacoma have an R series engine? No flags as of yet, but I'm thinking about dusting them off.

thats really funny I gotta. expecially from a person that begged me for about half an hour to tell you how the **** to do the conversion. Also if you gonna use part of my post then use it all.

I am currently looking into trying to convert the celica into a stricly RWD vechicle using a Tacoma trans with a supra rearend but the locale speed shop is having a little problem with the measurements,how to bolt the Tacoma trans to the 3sgte, and how to make it all work with out the torque ripping the rear end right off. otherwise I might take it back to a FWD only using the 3sge trans simple for the fact that I think I would feel more comfortable with the rearend out - but that means I am gonna have to take stock out on a tire company cuz Its gonna just sit and spin for a while during launch

Also I said that I am just looking into doing the Tacoma tranny with a supra rearend. Never said I was gonna do it or even was seriously thinking about it. Figure there is a 4th gen celica online with Tacoma trans and a Supra rear end, why not look into it for the 6th.

as for the floor issue.. thats bull all you have to do is relocate the gas tank and cut into the floor alittle to fit the pumkin. Yea you could replace it with the St205 floor - But why??? thats a whole hell of alot work for somthing a sawzall will do in 5 mins.

BTW I gotta you go alot of nerve tryin to call me out on this. Cuz there is no way that you could possbly have all the stuff you claim to, period. Im sorry - I make between 25-35 dollars an hour doing what I do and I couldnt afford all that stuff you claim to have and I dump EVERY penny I have into my car. you say you work at a warehouse or packagin place or some ****.. man Im sorry but there is no way you can afford the celica payments, a front and rear clip off a st205, all those bodykits you keep saying you have but take off and sell cause you dont like them. hell I remember one night you where IMing me and you rattled of over 25,000 dollars worth of stuff you supposedly had done.

I dont lie - I dont have ne reason to at all - I really dont care what a buncha names on a computer have to say about me or my car I dont owe ne of you a damn thing... I come here to share what I know and what I have experienced with my celica and other cars you wanna try and through that in my face thats fine your the one that is gonna feel like an idot not me.

I said my car would be done the end of this month, well thats not gonna happen now - had some major setbacks with shipping of some of the parts, But Im getting DAMN close to being done and then you and ne one else that doesnt belive me is gonna feel stupid as HELL

this crap is stupid. let's all let it go, and not bother w/ this anymore. you all need to realize, this is not "life". don't get worked up about who's callin who out, and who says they have what. there is much more to worry and be emotional about in real life, that doing it on a message board is not very worth your while. you guys need to grow up about this, and not give a dxmn. if NEVERSTOP has it, he'll post pictures in...well...however long it takes, and if igotta has all his stuff, he'll post pictures whenever he spends some money on a camera. just know that, and if they don't, they don't. just live life. don't worry about this stuff. sure it provides a sense of "community" and debate, but it's pointless to call people out all the time, and talk smack. weigh it out. hopefully you'll see what i'm talkin about.
