how do i remove the shift knob and boot from the stick and the plastic trim?

You should just be able to twist off the shifter knob, and loosen up the shifter boot and pull it off. I don't know how to take off the plastic part that the boot is sew into. I would just imagine to cut it or make your own.

the shift know simply twists off(it may take some effort but it eventually twists off). the boot is connected to the plastic rim which pops off pretty easyily if you pry it out i usually use my hands(dont be afraid to give it a good tug).

yea i kno i pulled my shift knob off just from curiosity, it started twisting so i just well, kept twisting it and it came off then naturally i took apart the rest of it, the shift boot and the center consol.
