you will need:
1 linear actuator 2 limit switches 1 relay (if not built into actuator) 1 SPDT switch 1 track for the monitor to follow 1 monitor and various wires. then you'll need to come up with the design that you like and then go from there with the fabrication. a simple wiring diagram can be made if needed. -------------------- Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

QUOTE(Pali_playa @ Dec 12, 2004 - 6:46 PM) this is also very illegal and dangerous and i dont recommend Passenger side airbags are not required and are not illegal to disable. It is only illegal to have a monitor on while driving if it's within the drivers field of view. -------------------- Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

If a cop sees the monitor within your view, he can pull you over. I now have 2 for the headrest and 1 coming out of my stereo. i was going to do the passenger sunvisor, but after losing my license for a year....and still driving dont want to attract alot of attention if you know what i mean!

And even then, if the monitor displays navigation information or any of that stuff, it's not illegal- how I get away with mine

its only illegal if u are actually watching TV, chances of ever getting pulled over for that is pretty rare. i dont personally know anyone that has.. if my passenger is playing XBox or something, it is not illegal.
But the question was, any ideas on designing a mount that i want... |
