Yeah....
Never been to a meet, just curious what are they like? I think itd be kinda cool ta see other Celica people... Get a better idea of the Celica. Learn more about them....But being that Im only 16, I doubt I'll be able to go to one. I think the only way I could make it to one if it was in an area I know pretty well.... Cuz Im stupid and will get lost. And I'd havta make up some wild excuse to make it to one too... I've heard a lil bit about some meets... but Im still curious.... its just a gathering of people who have the same interests, who look at other peoples cars and see what they have done to get a better idea if you want to go a similar route or create a total different idea. the group can get together for a drive, or just watch a movie and hang out. check out the socal thread "pix of nov. 13 toyota meet" and ull see an intelligent group of people (no ricers) who have got together to share their common interests and admire each others work and hobbies.

we just get together, talk cars and ask what future plans are for each others cars and dicuss them. We do this for about an hour or so. Pictures are taken which take some time to set up. Then usually we go and do something totally non-car related. We go hang out, go get some food, whatever people want to do.
You should come to the big Toy Drive this sunday. Its in federal way. You bring a unopened toy for charity and we all drive to a toy drive drive off point, get some food, and whatever after that. Its MASSIVE!! suppose to be over 100 cars coming from EVOs and WRXs to AE86s and Caddys. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=18098 -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |

Meets are pritty fun, just out of curiousity why would your dad not let you, my parents where like that sounds like fun (when I drove to kennawick for the meet) and it was, meet people and put faces to nicknames on the boards. sad that he does not let you go, but i guess he probibly just thinks that we are all horrible street racers, and gangsters, etc. i can understand but its a sad steriotype.
QUOTE Take dad along. In fact, the next Wa meet should be one where all the 'rents ride shotgun. umm.... that kinda.... No...... That would not be very fun for us or them. -------------------- |

Yea... its that whole sterotype thing.... My dad doesnt want me getting involved with anybody online. He's way too protective of me, and proably would think that if I went to a meet thatd something bad would happen... I dunno like what, but thats what he proably would think. If I even brought up a meetto my dad I get a big fat NO! lol oh well.... Although, if I lived with my mom, I'd have way more freedom, and she wouldn't even care about the meets. Hell! She'd wana go most likely. But yeah.... It sux too... cuz I really wanna go to a meet they sound like a blast. I think itd be cool to hang with other 6th gen celica owners. (celica buddies as I like to em LOL) But yeah... i dunno... Haha! if anybody from washington comes near Snoqualmie thats a sure fire way for me to get into a meet, but... you guys dont wana drive all the way there(washingotn area people).... Snoqualmie is a lil hick town with nothin to do... nowhere to go.... LOL -------------------- 2003 Nissan Murano SE |

I was sleeping, I should have gone but it was my only day off sice last mon, and will be my only day off till next sunday, I really need to go to a meet is been too long (ebrake thing) i know it did not help at all, (i feel bad about my e-brake fun) but it was in a controled env. QUOTE involved with anybody online. He's way too protective of me, and proably would think that if I went to a meet thatd something bad would happen... Sux, but it sounds like he just whats you to be safe, thats always cool, just need to show/tell him your not gana get yourself into that kinda situation, i understand what he is doing though, and its true trusting people you meet online is always iffy, you just gata remember that you can always leave. QUOTE Haha! if anybody from washington comes near Snoqualmie thats a sure fire way for me to get into a meet, but... you guys dont wana drive all the way there(washingotn area people).... lol, your talking to a bunch of car people, who love to drive, a road trip is never out of the question. QUOTE Snoqualmie is a lil hick town with nothin to do... nowhere to go.... LOL I have had soccer turniments in snoqualmie, but i dont really remember what the town looked like, but all the way out there, cant imagine its too exciting.
