Interior of the '98, door's come with 3 spekers in the front Options

I saw ricky's 99.GT vert his car is sweet 19x8's the car looks wonderful.
but when I saw in side I was dumbfounded 3 spekers in each door.
does any ones elese have those 3 speker panels , any pics????

Yes I think the 98-99 GT models have the extra speakers in the front.

Natalie's '94 has three speakers per door as well.

And Amy's '99 GT only has two speakers per door.

So I think it might just be an option throughout all the years.

I just bought some new speakers and was thinking of setting them up along side the orginals in the door panel, there 6.5' just not sure if there will be enough space.

Other wise i was thinking of installing them near the bottom of the consol on either side so its about knee height, coz its plastic panels i think i could install them easyily there and there would be more then enough space, wut do u guys think, or is it just crazy talk?

Like Shid said.. that is called the premium sound option. It comes with 8 speakers, 6 in the front and 2 rear and the amp is located under the drivers seat.

To tell you the truth it sounds very nice, however I will be changing all of it next year before the summer.
I was going to do it before but the new Suzuki GSX-R1000 is coming out in March and I need the funds to buy it.
In any case I have all the replacement components and a complete system. It is just the installation that is going to cost me.

One more thing... keep checking out the junk yards.. specially in Opalacka. They migth have a Celica with those door panels...

i got it and im workin on buyin 1" 4" 6.5" mb quart reference set up, already got the alpine amp to power em and a cda-9833 head unit, its gonna b sweet i cant wait.

edit: yeah they're in there, flamin red baby those are stock too! sound great i love em they take the abuse and keep commin back for more.

I've seen these door panels in the junkyards here in Houston often. I've never seen them in anything except the verts but apparently they are available. Probably the easiest way to find these would be to call all the import junkyards in your area and ask if they have a convertible '94-'99 Celica. If so ask if they have the door panels, etc.
