also, in the intial post i had written 3-4months after DPs were sent.
we starting sending early Jan. like the 10th... so the latest would be May 10th-ish due to our mishap we're lucky that they're still doing it in that time frame, but they covered their asses by doing so -------------------- |

When I tested the skirt, I asked him about the hatches. He said another week or two.
So.. Asked him 2 months ago, said 3 to 4 weeks asked him last month, said 2 weeks asked him 2 weeks ago, said 3 weeks asked him yesterday, said 2 weeks. hmm.. -------------------- |

this is a vary interesting mod, personally i like the wingless 95 HB's, and this would be a nice way of doing it. question, is the construction of this hatch done with the vacume bake meathod? the one that provides all of the strong, and sturdy structure? what i am looking for is a nice light(er) hatch, but still retaine the intierior plastic lineing. and wiper, i assume that all of that i will have to do my-self (that's no problem) but will the hatch be a good strong build, that wont rattle if installed right? or is it going to be flimsy? i know that vis dose good work, but my bro has had some issues with a VIS hood he got for a 2000 gts, and from the look of it it seemed that Vis kinda dropped the ball on the construction, (not the beast that it could/should have been). just some Q's and concerns. that's all
thanx -------------------- |

this is not 100% carbon fiber, this is like all the hoods you see from ViS and such. we haven't seen fitment problems on our hoods yet for the 6th gen celi, and hope this comes out the same.
Therefore, the method that do this w/ is a fiberglass base w/ carbon fiber overlay, if they still have to use a method, i doubt they use the vaccuum. They have not guaranteed a non-rattle, but say that it can be taken care of if it does(they wont let it be out of hand to where we can't fix it) -------------------- |

we have a situation here...
Apparenty ViS is having trouble getting ahold of carbon fiber right now. the hatch is practically done though. so what they are doing is pumping out ONE hatch right now. now i'm supposed to decide who is goes to, which sucks. there's about three of your who say you need this ASAP for shows, missing hatch, etc. etc. i'm sure you all have your reasons too for why you should get it over the others. what i was going to do to clear this up is get it myself, but i am in a tight pinch for money, so that is no option as well, because i want to get a lexan window made for mine(winter hatch/summer hatch) so, what do you all propose. my proposal: See if ViS will personally install TomWZ's since he is local. this way if thay dont fit right there is not reverse shipping(big $), and they can fix it, not to mention if they do it Tom will save some $, which would be a great way to thank him for helping with fitments there. anyone else? -------------------- |

REMEMBER THIS POST?!?!?! I just called Grant and he said STILL NOT READY....
They're making 1 right now and it still wasn't ready. After that 1 freaking hatch is ready, he'll call me or one of y'all up for test fit. If it fits, great, they'll do the rest.... if it doesn't fit.... Good luck waiting again. -------------------- |
