Well after about a month of shopping messing around and problems I finally have my whole WC setup running!

CPU Idle Temp

Im pretty happy with the temps, they seem to be lower then alot of the temps I read about. I know the on board thermal probes differ from actual temps so if someone wants to translate the above temps for me that would be cool.

The external box, having no shroud really circulates the are keeping it cold in the box, so my pump stays cool aswell as the rad and lines.

Tomorrow I need to run over and get a plug for my t-line, then I can actually close it all up.

Noise is a little higher then Id like, Ill try and do something about that in the coming weeks.

I know its out of the ordinary to go through the side but I dont have the tools to cut through thick steel, and yes my case has some really thick sturdy steel, so I just cut through the plastic side vent.

Any questions or suggestions are welcome, Im sure Ive missed something.

Oh for sure man, Id so prefer it all internal but my comp case is the anti water cooling case. In retrospect I maybe should have shopped for Lian li case or something but that probably would have added alot of money to the build since the plexi glass was 35USD and I only used half, so I guess you could say it was 15 bucks.

well heres mine ill get a pic wiht the door closed later tonight when its dark.
yes the wires are messy but that was during my WC leak test and none of the fans were connected, now all hte wires are hiden behind the board.

PS. i broke the fitting for teh radiator cause my teflon got lodged and it got over turned so it snaped, so thats my makeshift and it works better then the fittings that came with the rad.

my geforce 5900 is OC to 450/800 right now
CPU temp is 32c/86F
GPU temp is 31C

mind you asus probe and nvidia temps are always +-3 degrees. I need to get an accuall temp monitor to find my real temps out.

well your system can cool only to what your room temperature is at. so mine runs around 68-73 degrees year around so that is as low as it will drop. Basicly water cooling allows you to overclock your PC or video card and keep it running at very cool temps compared to just using fans. Its quieter also.

sorry 1 more post

uppity did you have to cut the screw from your GPU cooler because it was hitting your NB passive cooler. Cause i had to cut mine then bend the last fin outward some so they did not touch.

No actually I didnt, it is pretty close though, it looks like we have similar mobos if not the same. I think its the difference in the video cards, mine sits a little farther forward.

Oh and I overclocked my cpu to 3.01 so far and my vga to 575/575. I have to look up numbers for the vga because it seems ram can be turned up pretty high!

If by almost you mean half then yes! Its pretty much as small as it can be, you should see some of the huge things people make over at overclockers.com, they use like big wooden boxes and ****, its terrible.

Just some prestone 50/50, maybe like 20% in the water. Its pretty debatable whether thats even necessary since people who run straight distilled water clame not to have corrosion or fungal/bacteria culture.

*drool*

That is very nice, VERY nice.

*drool*

the box for the radiator etc is a bit big for my tast but who cares its one fine working system, if your holding steady those temps.

177.1 FPS, 293 AVG, oh how I hate you for that biggrin.gif . what do you get with the HL2 test, I bet its quite a bit lower. mine is to emberising to say (53.5 Nvidea GForce FX 5700 LE OC)
