Local celica at car show Options

Well we just had a car show with cars from all over the caribbean and for the second year in a row a local celica from st. lucia won. I just thought you guys would love to see the pics of this baby so i would host it and you can tell me what you think about how we do cars in st. lucia

Sure is sad that this is what is needed to win shows I think it looks like poo! might be nicer with different colors and less uncle ben.

first off, find me a part of the car that doesnt look like it was done absolutely 100% professionally and well.

second off, once again, with the contrast, its an artistic method, its popular, and it looks nice.

also a show car is not supposed to be a fast car, thats why its probably automatic.

you guys really are too judgemental here man, its rather annoying, open your minds, learn something about art, car shows, and "rice", and come back.

just because people may not like it, doesn't mean they're ignorant.

i like the general theme of the car, can't stand the colors.

yellow, purple, maroon & red don't go together, no matter how hard you try.

its alright, colors could have been better on the inside. outside is pretty cool. nice clear hood. i always wondered what would happen if a bird would poop on the clear hood. like, would it look like its just floating on there? hahaha. not that it would happen to a show car......anyways, ill shuddup now. =p

Hey thats what car shows are all about, I would feel stupid driving it but thats not what its for. The engine is sex though.

well maybe I went overboard but when people call that kind of thing "rice" its just annoying.

also it is in the "wild" category most likely, which means highly modified, and you dont win that without multiple colors usually.

most people here would probably like cars that win the mild/stock categories.

It is what is required to win car shows. It is all about creativity, uniqueness and professional clean work. That is actually pics from 2 years ago but this year it had gollum from lord of the rings air brushed on the side and the whole car had a the same colour code but the exterior paint has a cracked effect now.

the engine looks beautiful especially with the clear hood. the chameleon(sp?) paint is okay but i'm diggin' the subs.

Well i finally found the pics for the car show this year so i will put up pics of that one again and the other celica entered. You might like the lord of the rongs theme.

Yeh it isnt the best sub setup i've seen but it is nice and colour coded and the engine is just beautiful. It is a left hand drive car also which is wierd since we use right hand drive cars in the british caribbean.

the lord of the ring colors go with the car much much better than the first exterior paint job. And, i actually am not like a "freak" fan of lord of the rings, but i like it.

ok, i personally would not put some ugly ass troll, or whatever sub human character mr smeegle is, on the side of my car, actually both sides of the car. as for what's her face, the one from armageddon, thats another story.

and whats with that 10 lb toyota weight on the front of that red celi


one question bout the clear hood. is there paint u can put on there and remove it later? like a vinyl based paint that peels off?? that would be pretty awesome if they extended the lightning effect on there.

The only thing I like about it tho is the paint, dunno why but Ive aways had a thing for the chameleon paint jobs... Eh, i just like lots of colors I guess. I think its pretty

lol those graphics were only added this year. I guess it is the only other change to make it different from last year. You might have seen it on a website because there are different local websites with those pics. i have to say that airbrush graphic job is A+... Almost looks like stickers... WOW


We call it candy paint down here lol and it costs a **** load. There was a lexus at the show also that had a graphic design on it i will just get a pic of the graphics up but thats just because the topic came up.
