I dont know those bands you mentioned but Ive been listening to "The Dissociatives" which is Daniel Johns new band, its more pop and I didnt like at first but its grown on me.
Do you like heavy stuff or more just regular rock? This post has been edited by Uppitycracker: Dec 20, 2004 - 10:24 PM |

I would suggest, Strata, Rise Against, Default, Midtown, The Explosion, Jimmy Eat World, and Slipknot. Rise Against is by far my favority band. You should start with songs from Revolutions Per Minute from them and then go to the new one "Siren Song for the Counter Culture" both very good CD's.
edit: I would also suggest Flaw, Saves The Day, and Taking Back Sunday. This post has been edited by Anub1s: Dec 20, 2004 - 10:32 PM |

I listen to mostly christian metal like Extol, Zao, Demon Hunter, Underoath, MeWithOutYou, etc... one cd a friend let me borrow is Kill SwitchEngaged. They're not christian but hoo-hoo they can play! (and sing) Another is Between the Buried and Me. Excelent vocals by them as well.

i dont like metal and real heavy rock, default i grew outta they were to monotone for me - i'll check out some of those others like rise against. Jimmy eat world has some new stuff out sounds better than their old. Slipknot is too much for me, i thin i've heard some strata, i'll take a gander at those.
Im i wanna hear the new lostprophets album. -------------------- |

Apex theory is pretty good but The Lost Prophets got really old really fast for me.
A couple more for you: Social Distortion, Seether, Bad Religion, Brand New, Snow Patrol, Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin, SR-71, Bowling For Soup, Cake, and Auto-Pilot Off. |
