Alrighty, I got some money for xmas and was wanting to get an air intake and some other engine dress up stuff for my 94 gt. I was thinking about making my own intaked. Where could I buy some mandrel bent piping or just get piping that I can have bent later? I think I am going to be getting a K&N cone filter.

My next question is what would I have to do to the pipe after I make it?

Sorry for the repost and thanks again for the help.

OK so what piping on JCW would you use? I looked through there and found a lot of stuff that could be used but no actual mandrel bent pipe. Either I'm just not looking in the right place or I completly missed it.

just go to your local exhaust shop and ask them for a 30degree mandrel bent 2.5inch wide pipe. it will cost like a couple bucks maybe 10. this peice u use to attach to the intake part of your engine and then u can just get a another peice of straight tube for like 5bucks and attach that to the end of your 30degree bent tube. then just attach the filter to the end of the straght peice and your set.

doing it this way, you wil be able to get the piping the right size and fit it all in like 30mins time.

and this way i told u, u will end up with the filter sitting right about where the stock ar box is, so it will sicking in some colder air form the holdin the fender.
