I know theres alot out for our celi and I know theres coilovers too. but I think for a better ride its best to get the springs rather than the fake coilovers. Tein makes a set and I think they are good but what do u guys have and does ur car bounce?
Thanks guys |

Mine are actualy pritty good (vaos xr 2), yeah there kinda cheap and "fake" coilovers but there the best you can get for under $100 in my opinion. If you want springs tein is probilby the best. Coilovers, you cant get any better then Tein's there like $1200 but the best, A guy i know has em in his 87-89 supra, and there is just no questions about how good they are. You can get ground controls, a friends of mine has em on his zx2 and there pritty good too, worth the money if you got it. I hear the dropzone ones are really bouncy, and same with the air(something, dont know the full name.)

spring wise, tein s-techs are good if you want the cradle lok to your car. im more of an eibach prokit or sport kit gives you that little bit of drop to make your car stand out

I have not changed my height in so long, actualy i have only changed it once. there is no need to mess with them if you like the hight you got. mine is set to give me about a 4" drop.

From what I understand, Tein, Eibach, TRD, TOMs (cant find these anymore i found them awhile back), Intrax, and a brand named Sprint performance makes springs for out cars. First four brands I named are awesome companies and make good merchandise. I've heard of Intrax before but dont know anybody w/ them on their vehicles. And Sprint i've never heard anything about.

I would say go with sporlines. There great, the ride is still nice, and the handle great. also dont sit too too low. but give the car the drop it needs.

QUOTE(psyko @ Dec 23, 2004 - 5:33 AM) what about intrax anyone ever use those? I have a set of Intrax springs on right now. Just in the front at the moment. The back has some cheapo coil-overs. Ride is decent. I don't have much to compare the ride to cause it's been a long time since I've had the stockies in, so i don't really remember how it rode stock. The cheapo coil-overs are too bouncy for me, yet i like being able to go lower than the 1.75" the Intrax springs offer (especially in back), so thats why i have coils in back and springs in front. I think I am going to eventually put the Intrax springs back in the rear. i would definetly reccomend Intrax though. I am happy with mine This post has been edited by klr_toy: Dec 23, 2004 - 3:32 PM |

QUOTE(Lacs21 @ Dec 24, 2004 - 12:55 AM) I want that racked look, u know where the front sits lower than the rear. Springs usually don't do it. I have yet to see a set of lowering springs for 6th gens that close the front gap more than the rear... Tis unfortunate, cause I'm rather fond of that look also. Anyways, I run KG/MM springs. RARE JDM SH!T BABY! ;] Actually... they're aite. My shocks are old so it's a bit bouncy... -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"

well I went and got the Tein S tech 1.5 upfront and 1 rear. I'm wondering if I will even notice a difference? May be I will keep the rear springs stock!
