i just bought the clear turn signals and these are the bumper ones, what is that clear cap for

my guess, is that on other cars overseas, that plug is used for something

maybe a plug goes there to power the small side blinkers on the fenders some overseas cars have?????

I have seen stock ones and they have a rubber tube comming out of it and bending down ( like an upside down L ). I think it is to vent them. The tube is bent down so water can't go directly in.

Possibly, but me and his didn't come with that L thing, just an airtight plug

thanks guys. so should i try to put that rubber "l" on the new turns or just leave it as is
