This guy wants to trade me my Chrome 17's for his Chrome 18's shown below. Should I do it or say screw you?? He said he was wanting to sell his wheels for $700 but likes mine & is willing to do a trade for my wheels plus a little cash. If I did want to do this trade, how much cash should I give him w/ the wheels? $100? Lol or NOne??
If you hate Chrome & dont care...please dont let eevryone know lol...I need some real feed back on what kind of offers if any I should agree to. I cant imagine how they would even look on my car hmmmm, just cant picture it! This post has been edited by amysmojo: Dec 23, 2004 - 3:33 PM -------------------- |

Make sure they are in good condition and not bent. You cant tell by looking at them unless they are FUBARed.

Wow, those are pretty spiffy. Go for it! I wouldn't offer any extra cash, just make it a straight exchange.

no question about it. trade. those are much hotter than your's IMO. the smooth 5spoke is that new hotness. as far as extra money...just ask him what he had in mind. i wouldn't go much over 100 bucks though...if i even went over it...

damn..I didnt even think about that...this is what he said:
"the brand of the rims are LE. whatever that stands for . the tires are 215/35zr18 and the size on the inside of the wheels read 2 bolt patterns. 5x114.3 690kg and it also reads 5x112 675kg." does that mean they wont work? I think the ones I have now are the wrong size anyway lol This post has been edited by amysmojo: Dec 23, 2004 - 3:41 PM -------------------- |

no, they are too large of a bolt pattern. the holes are too far apart. . looks like the trade may be off. .

haha. well. if all else fails, you can always just take a wheel off, and try one of those..just to see...but from the readings in the wheels, i'd say the span on the holes is too large. .
