I have no family and we have no tree. We dont do anything on holidays. We go to our seperate rooms and thats it. Then my bro and i try to tell my mom that we just dont have x-mas and she gets pissed! and she then turns it into as us getting mad that we dont get x-mas presents which isnt true - it just would be nice if we had a big family that got together or if that christmas spirit was there.
I just hope you guys realize how neat it is that you guys have what you have and that i wish i was you guys. Atleast i have the health of my family :-( well most of my family! At least you have some family. I've celebrated Christmas by myself for the past two years.
For what it counts: Merry Christmas Natalie -Ti This post has been edited by turboinduction: Dec 25, 2004 - 8:52 PM |

I think the Christmas spirit belongs to each individual, having a family to be with is nice but even when I live by myself I'm gonna have myself a christmas tree Anyway, cheer up, you still have your 6gc family! |

yeah, when i live by myself, it'll be jsut like that dell commercial. Where the 3 guys just go nuts, they know they bought the stuff, but look at the fun they have. That's spirit, that's life

I know how you feel, me and my sis are the only ones under 48 in my family (witch is just me, mom, dad, sis, 2 uncles (who are single) and my grandma who is really too old for it all and my grandmas sis who is also too old), so for every family get together its just use, Where not religious so there is no real meaning other then family and friends. It use to be pretty fun but now everyone is just getting board of the same old thing every year, every holiday. I wish I got to have a real Christmas like a lot of the people I know, but it’s just not gana happen. What makes it worse is that my sis and I are the sole people, meaning that when my mom, dad etc start getting to old to do things on there own, it’s all up to use to help them out.
Just remember you’re never alone on Christmas. - Merry Christmas Natalie. -------------------- |

Sorta agree with uppity. But try to work on it next year. Or even still this year. Just go out and buy ur rents and sibling a gift. And if be all like, "bitch im celebrating!" Then hit em.

QUOTE your just as much to blame. I have to disagree with that a bit, wile its true in the sence that if you do nothing then nothing is gana get done, but its hard to get the rents to do anything, even if I try to, there is just not enough athouity (for lack of a better word) in us youth to get them off the couch. -------------------- |

Moving around has meant that while I have never really gotten to have best friends per say (kinda hard when on average you live in a place a year) I have known alot of people. This little tidbit has taught me that while everyone has certain things that others envy no one's life is perfect and that we should cherish what we do have. Sorry to hear you don't get to celebrate christmas but I am sure if you started describing your life we would all be jealous of something you do posess.

I spent it alone too.. I was trying to wish you a Merry Christmas, but I guess you didn't get it.. Oh well. I hope you feel better, because I thought I was the only one that spent holidays alone.

Well Natalie I'm sorry that you did not have the best Christmas, although you did get some nice gifts. Just remember that we still love you (me most of all ), I spent the day working my butt off because of people that obviously don't believe in Christmas nor care about others having to spend the day away from their families. Yesterday I was truely pissed off about having to do all kinds of stuff to pick up others slack but I decided that there was nothing I could do about it and that I should FIDO (Forget It and Drive On) it. It is still bugging me today but not as much, don't let your mom get you down, you know that she loves you even if she doesn't show it all of the time. Just tell her that you love her and show it to her, she'll come around. I hope that the rest of your holiday season goes better, and I wish you the best of next year.

You guys are all ****ed up
Christmas is the celebrating the birth of jesus. And in years this holiday, this celebration has been exploited by the retail market etc. Im sorry if you had a bad christmas but who cares.Maybe you should stop whining and complaining. When i was a kid Christmas was the bomb...Now that I am an Adult its crappy. But who cares I only got three gifts from every person in my family..Sometimes only one. WHen the Wise man Came to see baby jesus they brought one gift each.total three gifts. I gave three gifts to everyone.Im not trying to preach cuz im not that type of person..But seriously..Think more before you open your dirty mouth. Remember..What is christmas ? What is easter? What is THANKSGIVING DAY ? etc |
