Oh my god! boy oh boy do i want a turboed car. though i want a rear wheel drive turboed car more than front but ill take front too :-P

So i was so suprised cuz my dad was so against let me taking out the supra without him being around which is a reason why i havent taken it out. But i was like hey scott move your car cuz i gotta get out and my dad was like well why dont u just take the supra to blockbuster and i was like ok come on dad and hes like no u can go alone so i was like oh hell yeah! of course im in such a rush i forget my license and some good music but htats ok cuz my bro had nirvana in. So i take the long way and enjoy my time. Didnt speed around but had fun getting up to the speed limit alot faster and also enjoyed a bit of fish tailing :-P that was scary but a turn on at the same time hahaha.

Came home and now im begging for my dad to let me turbo my car. So it looks like if i save up all the money for it he will actually let me do it but he keeps rubbing it in that it wont be as fun cuz its front wheel drive but i dont care. I need a turbo.

Im not jealous of all u boys with turbos.

i raced a mk4 TT at the track last time i went. he had intake and exhaust and was running 12's at 112mph!

i slaughtered him off the line but he caught up and passed me at the 1/8 mile point. didnt help that i missed 3rd either frown.gif

now, damn near every car is slow to me. i got a ride in a 900rwhp supra like a month ago

that was sick

then a few days ago we had fun in my friend's 5.0L turbocharged mustang. 640rwhp/730rwtq at 9 psi on 91 octane pump gas

everything is so slow now. i have been de-sensitised
now imagine 250hp but with 2600lbs
been there, done that(240Z with 280zx engine swap + mods and more boost, 250+rwhp)

Those late 80's japenese sports cars have a certain charm in their design. It's a very muscular look. I still want a white FC on some mesh BBS wheels.....an LS1 couldn't hurt either. wink.gif

a turbo celica is a lot of fun. i dont really think the fwd setup is that big of a deal unless you plan on making 300hp+

I miss my MKIV frown.gif

My current supra (1990 Supra turbo, MKIV was sold) is in about 100 pieces.......previous owner kind of dicked me over...left out a few VERY important things about the motor, and it died on me. Turbo was MANGLED.

So now 6 thousand dollars later, she'll lay down a modest 400-450rwhp with the SP61GT.

Turbo supras are fun stuff........but you will DEFINITELY pay for all that fun.

he has trackion better then you also RWD...that and in your pics it shows NO mods and a total STOCK celica

He drives a WRX STI genius... and based on cars... if anyone posting in this topic is a ricer... it's you. S15 conversion in progress with the "uncommon" invader body kit... uhhuh...

thanks Kwanza, but its not an STI, just a plain WRX, which at the time, had a FMIC, full exhaust with no cats, and a intake yet it was just as fast as a low milage, JWT ecu 300zx TT(friends car) in the 1/4 mile

now i have a UTEC. after some tuning, i will hit low 13's all the time despite my babying of the car.

oh and playr

first of all, supras, with the stock IRS, suck ass in the 1/4, its a GT car, not a drag car(car is not designed to squat, squating is what give RWD cars the biggest traction advantage over fwd). thats why cars like mustangs and camaros are just as fast in the 1/4 mile with a lot less hp. similar to my WRX, i have all the traction in the world

second, back when the ST thats in my profile was my car, it would have raped every usdm 6g celica on this forum that didnt have a 3s swap or 5sfte

ever look at forkee's profile? i built that turbo kit. but my ST was auto, power brake and launch at full boost, never lose boost in a shift either, longer gears in the auto tranny also took great advantage of the much wider turbo powerband

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4291141257

there are pics of the same celica in my profile

and for ****s n giggles, here are pics of my WRX

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4286144097

mod list:
TXS FMIC
Injen short ram intake
HKS up-pipe(removes factory cat that is before the turbo)
3 inch divorced down pipe(removes cat right after turbo)
3 inch mid pipe(removes final cat)
apexi n1 catback(3 inch to 3.25 inch, then like 4.5 inch tip)

all my exhaust is mandrel bent

and when i get my Z up and running, well, it will blow my WRX away from a roll(20mph)

i have only done wheels and tint to change the appearance of a car of mine(excluding the repaint of my Z)

call me a ricer all you want, at the end of the day, i have a 04 wrx thats at stage 3 with no appearance mods other than tint, an original japanese sports car with an engine swap and mods that will run high 12's if i throw on a set of slicks(i ran mid 13's in my friends Z, which has a smaller turbo than my Z, on street tires) and i have a 1996 mustang, gutted in my garage, getting ready for a full repaint and a DOHC engine swap(still not sure what displacment we want to go with) with a custom turbo kit, made by my friend with the turbo 5.0l mustang. o ya, i also have experience and what most people would agree to be fast cars.

and i wasnt saying i missed 3rd as an excuse. i did not expect to beat him, which if you looked a few lines up, i said how fast his car was with only intake and exhaust. btw, ebay short shifters suck, thats why i missed third, i fixed it with some washers tho.

he didnt rape me after 2 seconds, it was more like 9-10 seconds, and i wouldnt say he raped me if i was ahead of him for that long

sorry for the rant, had a long day of gutting the interior out of my mustang. plus it bugs the hell out of me when people jump to conclusions with out checking my sig(but they do check my profile to see the original pics of my ST)
