So just recently I found out that there is a Corona Coupe, produced from 86-89, that is almost identical to the Celica except for a different nose and 2 door Coupe body. Anybody else know this? Chassis codes are the same as the current celica of the time, engines are the same (no turbo model), and interior near identical except for fabric... So now my question is was there a ST182 JDM coupe equivalant to the Celica? Or did it skip a generation and then go to the Curren? Ill see if I can get a pic up of in here quick...

Maybe to help project a sense of luxury, or classiness towards the car.

Eww that is uglly but then again so are older celis 70's, 80's and early 90/s (can we say ford probe? dodge stealth) for the most part are what I consider the dark ages of cars. 70's had some beasts but they are still ugly for the most part in my book and that st162 is both ugly and underpowered (imo)
