who could possibly talk crap about pyramid, when audiobahn is called audio-bomb. Last I checked the stupid flame baskets didnt do crap for anything and thats all audio-bomb has going for it. Give the guy a break. Nobodys first system was jl or kicker, unless mommy and daddy were buying. Anybody that tries to install there first system, Ill give them credit. Ive been installing my own stuff and othere for about 10 years and Im just now getting into fibergalss. All of you guys out there that do your own fiberglass work are artists to me!!!

my first system was Pioneer Premier, and JL.... Pioneer flip out dvd, Pioneer components powered by a JL 300/4, and three 10" JLW6AE's powered by a JL 500/1. metered at 145.4... all in a Ford Explorer.... it was a good system, but its all been sold.. now i have Alpine, Infinity, and Adire

i got my new audio toys for christmas too...hehehehe, well i got some for christmas the others i had to buy after christmas....hehe... i jus got the alpine cda 9831 headunit to replace my kenwood... and i got 3 JL Audio W7 V2 12 inch subs, and 2 JL audio 2000watt amps...hmmmm put all that in in under 2 hours...and does my car thump....

JL audio 2000rms amps? JL's highest amp series which is the slash series only has the JL 1000/1. i know alot of people who's first system wasnt JL or Kicker.. the only reason that was my first system is because my oldest brother was in to competing and such.....but i dont F around when it comes to car audio either, but if i could do my first system again id go with Adire instead of JL. while JL is highly respectable stuff it is over priced... but anyway this topic is old...

I am not going to flame you, or bash your stuff black, but if you want some help or have questions feel free to PM me. My dad has been in the car stereo business for 25 years now. I have been helping him with his business for the last 13 years. Even ask crazycel about the boxes my dad has built, he has been in my shop and is useing one of my dads boxes for his 2 compVR 12's. The same system i am running. Also i am close enough to you i can even cruze down one day and help you out with your setup if you wish.

Like no affence samguglielmo but i mean not everyones money and daddy has to buy them stuff for them to have a good stereo that is always such a bash i mean i spent about 1500 on mine nothing big and i paid for it all myself it is just called u have to work to get what u want.

Hell, with a properly built box small wattage can seem pretty powerful. A friend of mine had 4 12" pyramid subs (hold the laughter) in a Isobaric/Vented hybrid enclosure (One sub had a totally sealed enclosure and the other sub was mated with a large ventilated enclosure). It was surprisingly clean sounding and was still loud enough to be heard from a distance.
