I'm looking for a shop in CA that does the 3sgte swap. I am too lazy to go through the work of doing it myself, and would like to avoid all the hassle by just paying someone to do the work for me. Does anyone have any idea of where I could go for this?

I've seen a couple shops on the east coast that do this, for $6500 they do the entire swap for you, parts and everyhting. Anywhere in CA or OR, or NV that does this? If you know of one, let me know!

Bryan(thedevilmaycrie) works for a shop that does swaps, and he's got the personal experience with the 3S-GTE into the ST204 specifically. Plus I bet it'll be a lot faster than E.L. Prototypes...I hear they're often slow.

and, last I heard, EL doesn't do Toyota's anymore- they were trying to sell off a 3sgte swap car they did so they could focus on Nissan's.

Thats what I heard from Gee (ryu3xwhatever smile.gif

I'd be interested in DMC's shop.. hmm

Signal Hill Autoshould also be able to do it for you since I saw a guy selling his celica with 2nd gen 3s-gte awhile back from signal hill auto. I think they primarily do Nissans but they probably could do it for you, but their pretty pricy.

If you're back in paradise... contact the dudes at Chico Race Works...Chico Race Werks... They do mostly MR2 stuff... but may be able to do Celica stuff...

If you're in Norcal, check out Oki from BlackTraxx down in the San Jo area. When I was considering doing a swap, I spoke to him. Heard good things from norcalcelicas.org

I know your in the San Jose area but if you get your clip from VENUS (916-386-2286) in Sacramento, ask them to give you the number to Evolution. They did my work. Really cool guys at both places i reccomend them both. Ask for Bow at Evolution he's the toyota expert there.

Unfortunatly i am NOT able to say. I am the 1ST and LAST person that they will do this swap for at that price. So as a favor to them i agreed not to mention it to anyone else that doesnt already know. Like i mentioned give them a call they are cool people.
