I've ran into a small problem, i'm either going to go with an ACT or EXEDY clutch kit. But here's the small problem.
On toyautosports.com, i've gone to toyota replacement. Find an Exedy clutch, with thanks to much of the community on this site, i have a liking for. Here it is Exedy clutch (regular use) for $215.79, in stock, and i do think free shipping. I was fine with this, untill i saw the performance clutch tab in the same site. Under performance clutch kit's, i found another Exedy clutch (2nd one down) for my GT. The problem is, it seem to have the same model number as the one above. Look for yourself at 2nd clutch (performance use) - 2nd one down if you have to go through the car stuff, i have a 98 liftback GT. The problem here is, this "performance" clutch kit cost $232.76. CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS??? -------------------- The most important lesson I learned from Karate-Dō Kyōshan – “You can not be what you do not believe you are” |

They also have the same part number for the GT and ST clutch kits which is obviously incorrect. I would find yourself another supplier since they even seperate the coupe and hatchback and the 95-99 & 98-99.

i got my ACT clutch kit from clutch city online , came with everything i needed, heavy duty PP street disk throwout bearing and alignment tool for 306$, shipped had my flywheel resurfaced locally for 35$ cleaned it REAL well before i installed it, and i LOVE it. works perfectly, grabs like a rock..
