I usually don't say much in terms of n/a tuning on the old Celica.net or the new Celicatech.com... but I dunno. It got really annoying today because even with solid information, the fads that are rampant on that forum (N/A tuning) seem to not want to let go. Check that topic, then look at the rest of the topics in that forum. They talk of Camry headers, "slight" factory upgrades, larger throttle bodies... etc... *sigh* To add... nothing against these guys. I hold nothing but respect for those who do try to experiment... but I dunno. You'd have to have been regulars on the old Celica.net N/A forums to know what I mean. so many plans
all amounting to a little bit more power and i agree on the cams, why go thorugh the hassle of finding them, waiting to get them, then swaping them out if they are oem F head cams? how much could a regrind cost? edit: i wonder why his 3kgt is dead, lol This post has been edited by 97sccelica: Jan 5, 2005 - 1:07 AM -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

depends on the shop doing them... but they're usually not more expensive than aftermarket cams... -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... talk to JohnL on that board. he has a lot done to his car and i think its at about 145whp. the guy really knows his stuff.
the problem with the 5sfe, is that its already doing the best it can from the fatory. there really are not many things you can do to make more power and most of the mods will cost a lot for just 10 more hp. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

I have respect for JohnL... although It seems to me he is more book smart than experienced. He and I have clashed in the past, when I questioned him about revving a 5SFE to 8000 rpms... then he sorta came after me for a while cause I showed him little respect. He wanted to make sure I knew what I was talking about. This was in the past on celica.net though. Anyway, the battle goes forth. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"
