im looking at getting 16x7" MR7's and want to get the widest tire possible with no modifications. what could i expect to fit with ease? also, whats the widest those rims can have? will a 42mm offset look fine? if i get them im looking to put 225/45/16 or 205/50/16 tires on. what do you think?

so can 16x7" rims hold 225/45? will a 42mm offset look pushed in, just right, or pushed out? i read 35-38 is ideal, but i dont know where that places the rim.

will someone please answer if 225/45 will fit on a 16x7" rim or are the tires too wide for the rim?
