the tires seem to direct the car where to go, feels like it just plows... and sometimes torque steers left or right under very low throttle, when you get on the throttle at halfway or more it evens out, but light throttle the tires seem to turn and jerk a bit... i think they are either balanced wrong, or just need to be worn in. or something is really messing with my head tongue.gif

sounds like you have an alignment problem, and the better tires just magnified it to where you can feel it. What size did you have and what size did you go to?

lol went from 14s to 17s, i bet ur right, i did feel a slight alignment problem when the 14s were on after my accident but he supposedly fixed the alignment... guess he didnt do such a hot job on it...

I would definatly take it in and get it aligned, you might have something bent, or they didn't align it properly the first time.

The same thing happens to me, even after I got my car aligned, and they said everything was fine. And my friend put rims on his Maxima a little while ago too, and he's going through the same thing too.

I talked to my friend and we decided that the car is just getting more traction due to softer, wider, higher-performance tires. He works at a local shop and is a mechanic there, and he said he aligned his Max since putting on rims, and it still happens to him too.

I REALLY noticed it when I first put them on but it's cool now. I think I'm just used to it. Got to love how those low profile tires grip the road

I'd get it aligned as soon as you put on those TRD springs. biggrin.gif

If you've already had it aligned once then don't worry about it unless you really think something is wrong. In that case, take it to a different shop and see what their machine says about your alignment since the first shop could have a sh1tty machine.
