I'm looking for an MR2 lsd tranny and 3sgte tranny. I'm also looking for both sets of axles. I'm sure some of you swappers have these leftover. I'm also gonna need motor mounts and shift linkage. I think these will also be from an MR2. I'll have to research, I've been out of the game for a while. If you have info on the mounts email me at swapd3s@yahoo.com

Do you mean st205. I need this for a front wheel drive vehicle, so the lsd on the awd tranny doens't do me any good.

OH ok i got it. I don't think the 3sge tranny will last with the setup I have. I'm gonna stick with the hybrid e150/e153 hybrid. Might have found the alltrac tranny still need mr2 tranny.

3SGE tranny is stronger then 5S. Cuz 3SGE engine produces 180 hp in a stock version in Europe and Japan... So i dont think mr2 tranny will be lot different.. Speacaly from 2 gen 3SGTE.

I'll be using the guts, bellhousing, outside part of the alltrac tranny and the middle part of the transmission where the axles go into from the mr2. So the tranny should be good for 800 hp seeing how this is what the alltrac tranny is good for. So it should be able to withstand 340 at the wheels. That's what I'm shooting for.

What will your mods be at 340 whp? -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

I've got the fmic, 3" downpipe and exhaust, t3/t04e 60 trim garrett turbo, greddy profec B which will run 15 psi. I don't know which computer I'm going to use yet. Right now I'm leaning towards the AEM, however XAT Racing installs and tunes for $1400. I just don't want them hacking up my harness.

I am looking at a T3/T04e but probably a 46 trim. I have heard even the 50 trim doesn't spool until 4500 rpm. How is your lag? Also, are you sure you can get to 340whp safely with those mods? You may want to look into an aftermarket intake manifold or cams. Also, water injection? metal head gasket?

Lag is bad. Doesn't spool up till 4500. I was running 4 lbs of boost and it felt the same as 12psi with the ct26. This will be 15psi of tuned boost. Should be fine. I'll find out soon enough. All of the big tuners I've talked to said it should be good as long as I get 550 injectors.
