Street Legal, Problems Options

I have the Street Legal game and i'm trying to get it to work... I have installed it many times but when i try to run the game, it says there was an error in my String.java file... anyone have the game? if so, do you have that file?

Haven't played the game, but my recommendation is download Java 1.5. Your current Java Virtual Machine may be corrupt (or MS is trying to say you don't need Java).

Hm I have played that game. Building an engine and car is actually very cool, so is the tuning. But other than that the gameplay is horrible. Can't help your problem though.

I had a similar problem. i reinstalled like 5 times and finally went to their website and all my problems were solved. download these 3 patches and it should work. good luck.

Thanks for the help everyone... i'll try those patches... I love building the cars and the engines..

the total patches for that game add up to be more mb's then the game itself but yeah I have and use to play it quite a bit, even though the game play is crap, its fun to work on motors that are actualy realistic and true to real life (for the most part)

still can't get the game to work... the patches say that my game can not be upgraded... if anyone has had this problem, please tell me what you did. Thanks.
