i want to know if i can make out of an ss-iii and an ss-ii gearbox one!!!!! i have an proplem with my gearbox and i have to change it so, i am thinging of buying one of ss-ii who has shorter gear ration and get the l.s.d out of the one i have now. i allredy found an ss-ii gearbox and i want to know for SURE if this internall swap is possiple....... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!! does anyone ever done this before?

I'm about 80% certain the "boxes" are essentially the same, with differences in the gearing and final drives...
