QUOTE(jgreening @ Jan 11, 2005 - 12:20 PM) QUOTE The 6 people I know with vw's and Audis say they would not buy one again, the only reason they still have them is looks and thats it. Talk to someone who owns a Jetta diesel. The loyalty of that crowd will amaze you. that may be true with the diesels but remember there are no other alternatives for a diesel powered car, its a VW or nothing... the majority of people I have known that own VW's, or did, were not thrilled by the fact that their reliablity was dismal... isnt VW at the bottom of the JD power initial quality survey? Im not positive but i'm pretty sure they are... funny even though thats true, as a brand they do have a good loyalty base, and the same goes for Audi... To me I think its because they are "statement" cars, people who dont want to blend in drive them... I prefer the Audi S8, or really any of the 4 door sedans, lots of hp, lots of room...can't go wrong.

I sat in one at the auto show last year. I didnt really like it because of the really really narrow windows. Im kinda tall so I couldnt really see out of it. Maybe Id have better luck with the convertible
