AFAIK, the LSD from a 4AGZE transmission will not fit. The supercharged engines use a different transmission (E-series) than the 7AFE and most 4AGE cars. The GZE transmission will still bolt up to the engine, but I do not believe that the internals will interchange.

Maybe try locating a Cusco or other LSD for the C-series gearbox.

so i guess the only way to find out is to buy a LSD that works with the 4age motor and try it out on my 7afe motor...

well ill go source one out and let you guys know if it works.

oh one more thing the ST USDM celica comes with the C52 or C50 tranmission? basically whats the code?

C-52. The C-50 is an older 'box, stater is on the opposite side of the bell housing, IIRC.

There were factory LSD options in many of the Japanese C52 trannies as well as the C56, which are nearly identical. Try asking around club4ag. You might find one dirt cheap.

Still, having one would be nice, but an upgraded 2 way or even 1.5 can hurt drivability depending on your driving style. I had to really re-learn to drive my Corolla after I had a 2 way installed, which I eventually dumped for a 1.5 way. It's not something that's 'needed' with the low-end torque that the 7AFE makes, but it'll be nice to have.

Both c series and s series transmission use same diff. A 2 way would be for drag racing. A 1.5 from what i heard is difficult to get used to and peeps use it mainly for track.
