So I was on my way to Seattle to hang out w/ Natalie for the weekend....& I hit something (no idea what!!!) & my tire blew SO I was stuck @ a Chevron 40 miles from home for about 2 & 1/2 hours w/ flocks of men trying to change my tire for me LOL (well ok not flocks but at least 8 guys)
Anyway no one had the right tools to take off my wheel!!! And I didnt have a stupid key to get the lug nuts off sooooo I had to have my baby towed... The worst part is that my wheel is cracked on the inside so now I need a new tire AND wheel GRRR!!! Thats not stopping me from having fun this weekend though! Natalie is pulling up in my driveway any minute to take me back to Seattle w/ her picture is blury...my hands were frozen & I was shaking from the cold lol (it started snowing after I took this pic) -------------------- |

isnt that a really heavy keychain? I say just keep it in your car. I figure if they break into your car, they are either going to steal the stereo or steal the car. If they wanted the wheels, then they are not going to bother taking the time breaking into your car and searching for the key when they can just go to another car. -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |

Anyway GOOD NEWS!! I called the dealership I bought the car from & he called america's tire co & is hookin me up w/ a free tire WOO! But I still have to pay for a new rim $175 grrrrr (with a possible $25 - 30 discount not sure yet) -------------------- |

just be glad your car is towable. I can't even tow my car. Cops try to tow me one night and the tow truck driver showed up, shook his head and left.

If you don't have the key, then get a lifetime warranty 19mm socket or something similar that will fit your lock nut, and pound that thing in, then use a breaker bar to get it out..
Then look all confused and play stupid, and exchange/refund it.. Ha ha.. I'm evil.. I exchanged it.. Because I needed a 19mm socket.. I don't know what size will fit your lock lug though.. If you have them. |

OK I guess getting my new wheel isnt as easy as I thought! They had to special order it & I was told it would be in on the 12th or 13th. So I called them yesterday on the 13th & it turns out the stupid place they ordered it from sent them the wrong wheel! So they put this Konig on my car until the other comes in (which is hopefully today):
Its a 16" so im pimpin three 17"s & one 16" haha, oh & they gave me a wheel key Woohoo! This post has been edited by amysmojo: Jan 14, 2005 - 12:45 PM -------------------- |
