i am thinking about purchasing these springs pretty soon and i was wondering what else is needed to be done to the car after installing them. Would i need new shocks or have to get a car reallignment? or both

nah you don't really need new shocks -- my ride is just as good as before unless you go over some REALLY HUGE bump or something. But i would def. reccommend an alignment.

You will need shocks/struts eventually. Because the springs are so low, my shocks hold up the back of my car, causing the springs to bump around, and you can hear them. If you want to PROPERLY lower your car, then you should think of shocks or struts soon after, or u'll start causing damage onto the stock ones.
