Hey you guys, it has been a while since i last posted but i need some help. I have a snapping/popping clunk sound that only when i depress the brake pedal to a certain pont. It only happens after i accelerate and then need to brake. It isnt' a question of momentum because i have down shifted from fifth to second to slow my self down rapidly and the sound doesn't occure, until i press the brakes. I would like any feed back, it sounds like it is comming from my right front tire, but it is getting worse, so i have no idea.

popping sounds is a plague in newer toyotas. usually when you go from reverse into a forward moving gear and then depress the breaks. I know there is some sort of lube that fixes it for a short while

best thing to do is check to make sure all your lugs are tight, if so then take off your wheel and make sure all the bolts on the calipers are tight

just start checking stuff, it may also be your abs if you break too hard at high speeds.... but im assuming you arent that dumb

yea i don't think he would be doing that often....if so then i would guess you and your car and the rails and trees are good friends

check the caliper most likely
