My friends and I went to target last night at around 9:30, when we came out I noticed something looking out of place on my celica. I got a closer look and it looks like someone backed into my car and bent in and cracked the front right panel and bent and cracked and pushed out the front bumper, and liability doesnt pay for the damages mad.gif frown.gif

that really sucks man. I feel for ya. its the worst feeling in the world to walk up to your car and notice something grotesquely wrong with the bodywork. makes you want to beat the living crap out of someone. mad.gif

not that I would. anger is much better taken out on something that won't sue for damages. ie: a punching bag.

dude you should contact the store manager at target because they normally have security cameras and you can use those to get the persons license plate that hit you.

seriously, i am sick of all these people in this world getting f*cked over and not doing anything about it.. go there and raise hell....seriously. if you don't want to do that, tell me where you live and i will

i'm not joking either. last june my gf and i spent like 2000 on a new washer and dryer. like 2 weeks ago the washer stopped working. so we called the sears place (we have a warranty) and they sent a repairman out and we had to leave for work and then when we got home we where expecting the washer to be fixed and all we see is a note from him...guess what it says

"Had to order motor controller"

5 freakin words. That's it. Not what time he would be back.. not if we had to call back in etc.

just those 5 words... and now we have to pay like 2.00/load to wash the clothes (dryer still works great) and she doesn't want to ask if we will get reimbursed. i am like damn woman why not? what is the worst that's gonna happen? they say no? big deal

she isn't even mad that he didn't tell us what to do either. obviously i am. now the people at sears say that they will send the parts to us then when we get it that we have to call back in and schedule another appointment. WTF!!!!! that will take another week b4 we get the parts then another week b4 the dude comes out again. this **** pisses me off. so we still have to pay to get our laundry washed. the warranty was like 1200 bucks. for 5 years.

in the end don't let stores take advantage of you... talk to that manager and his/her boss too.

Ok, two of my best friends have had there cars broken into and had massive sh*t stolen. One at a major mall, and the other at a almost brand new Wal-Mart. Both times the managers would not give over the tapes. So don't get your hopes up.

There is a small police HQ in the mall where my friends car was broken in to. The cops came out, inspected it, insurance inspected it a couple days later, and I asked why they didn't give him the tape... I just don't remember... frown.gif

That's too bad that that happened. Even if you're gonna get a kit, I'd ask to see the security cameras and then see if you can find out who did it. If you can, then find them and work out an agreement with them or press charges and get some money that can go towards your kit. That's what I'd do anyways.
