No companies make superchargers for sixth generation Celicas, but some people plan to drop in the JDM or USDM 4A-GZE engine, which is a supercharged a-series engine that should drop right into an st.

Yep. Its the swap i'm going to be doing sometime around end of January - beginning of February. You probably saw my thread about my "Celica Type-Z w/Supercharger"... heh. The clip costs about 2000-2500$. I'd imagine the S&H depends on where you live exactly.

You can keep the supercharger and mod it to about 230wHP pretty easily, anything more then you have to get custom axles. If you did want more you could drop the supercharger and install a turbo.

I personally feel that the 4AGZE is better than the 3SGTE. For fact that ST's can only handle so much on our piece of **** axles. If you go with 3SGTE, you need to pay for a whole new transmission and get custom axles inorder to install that engine. If you go with the 4AGZE, it comes with an LSD 5spd Transmission and it can use your stock axles. Plus your getting power along the 170wHP mark and can easily upgrade some parts to get more power and push you over the 200wHP without changing your axle's and whatnot. Then if you decide you DO want more power, you could get your custom axles then and swap to a turbo.

Its not much help to you guys (as this company is based in the UK), but you might get some useful information. This company is just down the road from me, what they don't know about celicas ain't worth knowing.

They've just finished supercharging the companies gen7. Have a chat to either Simon or Nick, both nice, helpful blokes.
