I'va had quite a few people comment the celi, Two times that i will remember though. First time i'm at a stop light, and i hear the dude in the car beside me telling his mom (in spanish) "hey mom thats the car we saw at the car show", when i heard that , i turned and they were all staring, the driver then asked me " how much did you pick that up for?", i said 7k and he looked surprised and said " no way i thought they went for about 30k!" i stood there and thought to myself, he probably thinks it's a supra and drove off.

Second time was about 2 weeks after i got the Supra, i went down to my old town to visit some friends because they wanted to see the Supra. we were all talking and my buddies dad comes out and comments both the cars (celi and Sup). Later on he asked, which one is faster , so i just ask him, "which one do you think is faster?", he looks at both of them and points at the celi , then later on he tells me the celi looks better too . haha didn't really bother me, but my bro seemed happy.

i always get "why the hell would you put a body kit on a celica?  its not like its fast" or my personal favorite is that in interfooler or intercooler?(as they laugh hestarically)"  then all i do is rev a lil then they shut up real quick...

I had a guy follow me into the mall & ask what year Celica I was driving lol It was like he had never seen a 6th gen or something (he had a wife & kid w/ him so he wasnt like some creepy guy haha)

Then this other guy said "oh...no offense but I hate celicas....But after he saw mine & got to ride in it he said "damn...i think your changing my mind about these things!" so he either likes them now or just wants to go for another "ride" haha!!!

I love my car Old people always ask me what kind of car it is then tell me it is really 'sharp'. Teenagers think it is a supra even when the license plate is C3L1CA. The best is when you start talking to somebody you have never seen or met before and they are like I love your celica I seen it go by before and just love it.

At first i used to despise celicas, with their ugly headlights and whatnot's...........but after seeing the NICE rides on this site, i was like........hmmm maybe celicas arent so bad............

nice to see a russian here. How did you get a celi in Moscow? I left Russia 6 years ago and the only toyota I ever saw was passing through from france.. saw it around Kremlin. Well I guess times change. BTW how much do cars like yours cost nowadays? A prices same as here? It sounds very intriguing....

i'm an ex-pat but everyone esle in our club are russian's !

yeah 5 years ago, import's were rare and toyota only sold 200 new cars a year !
now toyota have about 15 showrooms......

import celica's 6th gen are on they last year due to costoms laws and will jump up by 50% after next year

as for what there costing !!!! SS II start about $8k going up with GT-4 from about $14k if they come over from japan.... from europe (LHD) there more expencive, but we like RHD

i pulled up to a Toyota dealer to get a part for something, and one of the salesmen said "that's a nice supra you got there.." ... i shook my head and walked right past into the showroom. .

I helped coach a soccer team with one guy, and the first day I met him I pulled in and he was like nice little celica you got there what is it a 94 or 95? I was surprised because this guy was in his mid thirties. I got to talking to him and he said I wanted to get one right when they first came out, but I saved up and bought a Viper instead... lucky bastard.
