my license plate no longer rattes or the panel on the rear side of the trunk (they did before). the worst rattle is still there though. from the outside, it sound like its right at or right under the drivers side taillight, but on the inside. i took off the panels and there is absolutely nothing in view that can rattle, its just the cars frame. are there wires that i cant see that can be rattling on that? im stumped on this rattle and ive already fixed ~4 rattles so far.

Did you check the fuel tank lid release cable? I heard that those can cause rattles..

first off, i dont even know where that is. second, the rattle is further back than the fuel door. its right around the taillight area.

hmm that little black panel at the very back of the hatch in the inside... it makes a whistling noise... the cause is probably air going through the bottom then the top... but for your situation... it might be the top of the bumper turn up your music and step outside and listen to everything... you will need to have it up pretty good if you want to find everything..... my bumper rattles quite a bit.... especially the wing... it makes a horrible noise... the sticky **** doesnt stick anymore, so ive stuck alot of foam type stuff under, stops it for a bit but then it does it again... my fix so far is i have turned the gains down quite a bit more... not nearly as much bass. but just a little.. ohwell though.... time for a new amp anyways and sound deadening sooner or later..

yeah, i was outside my car when i was locating the rattles. i unplugged the rca's on my speaker amp so only the subs were playing Linkin Park - My December. it has plenty of bass and was easy to find where the rattle was coming from. where did you put the foam stuff to keep it from rattling?

It could be the antenna assembly, there are a few pieces there that could become loose and rattle.

Shid was telling me something about removing the tail lights and putting some kind of filler in there, but I don't really hear anything from that part of my car...he's sure to come in soon and let you know about that. My rattle that is still around is near the gas cap, i figure it's some mechanism in there. |

i heard putting filler inside the lights was bad, unless im not actually putting the filler in the taillights. its just after i took off the trunk panel, there was nothing there that could be ratting (that i could see).
