Psi Racing had the 7afte that ran 14.4 on 14 psi they have somw stuff for the 7afte people out there.
Hey nik Whats up, well for starters no company actually stocks it, we would have to get them custom made, I would need a factory piston from you and then I would send it out, to my piston manufacturer and they will duplicate it, in whatever compression ration I wanted, the rods I think they should have on file, so those we shouldnt need a core, just let me know exactly what you want to do. Thanks, Brendan Alvarez PSIRacing so far also depends on final price 1. NIK 2. Doggy 3. Edo 4.trdevelopment -------------------- yea your 3sgte is cool but ill stick to my 7agte

Pauter have 7afe rods listed (I have the part number) and for the pistons , we have just to know what compression the 4agze give with the 7afe head .

Pauter charge hell to much, and they are not the best for the money... About pistons GZE pistons make 10.8:1 CR in stock 7A

wouldn't you want those(4agze) pistons in a NA 7afe more then in a 7agte? or 7afte? cause its better for high compression in NA

It is better to go with Crower rods.. Even they make the custom ones, price will be practicly the same as pauter, but Crower rods are better IMHO... And i read lots of good info on them...
Nik, so hows with the PSI racing going? Are they gonna give some estimates? QUOTE(frotou @ Jan 24, 2005 - 2:28 PM) QUOTE Pauter charge hell to much, and they are not the best for the money... Hmm, this sounds nice. few things:
1. an esimate of improved bhp without a turbo. 2. an esimate of improved bhp with a turbo. 3. Would new rings be needed as well? or are they included? 4. Aproximate cost. Thanks |

esimate of improved bhp? From What? From stock dimension Rods and Pistons? These are not for BHP, these are for strenght and reability, if you gonna go turbo, you need stronger internals, these are dedicated for this....

But from a better compresion ratio? Does that not add power? |

Yes, they will, you will gain somthing about 10-15 hp at most if everything done right....
If you want pistons, then get GZE pistons, you will have higher CR with them.. QUOTE(CheesyLobster @ Jan 25, 2005 - 12:58 AM) QUOTE(doGGy @ Jan 25, 2005 - 7:34 AM) esimate of improved bhp? From What? if you increase your CR do you not also have to adjust your timing maybe fuel management and run higher octane gas??

Yes, you have to.
Period. We are talking about Rods and Pistons custom made, not about CR and other stuff.. If you gonna go N/A route, then this will be the best bang for the $. Get some ITb's, good cams, fuel managment and you will gain more then 20 hp for sure.. But higher octane will need to be used..

yea higher octane is a must i know from racing motorcycles but ITB are a no for me cause well i just can't go that far but i'm probably goin to see if i can get some 82mm+ 4agze pistons since the stock is 81mm bore
and up the bore a little bit with probably a greddy emanage since they are normally easy to find |
