Don't get spacers
they don't leave enough stud for the lug nut to grab...i just snapped two of my studs and stripped the other 3 like a week ago WHILE DRIVING
dont do it its dangerous

prpnum1, what kind of spacers did you have? beyond a certain size proper spacers come with their own studs to alleviate the problem you mentioned. from what I understand H&R spacers are the best you can buy and shouldn't cause any problems if properly used.

jdog, it depends on your rim width, your offset, and how much you want your wheel to stick out. Help us out with those, and we can give ya some advice.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

wasup, sorry about the lack of info...

i have 18" konig reigns w/ 215x35x18 falcon tires. not sure if i should go with the 20mm spacers. H&R makes high quality products, definitely wont have a problem.

my car right now (sideskirts and front and rear extensions not shown)

personally i think a spacer should only be put in if you flare out your fenders or a widebody kit is used....otherwise you could look like those "mexican moblies"(no racism implied) with the wide goofy wheels

These are 8 inch wide wheels with a 35 offset:

Since you have 7.5" wheels and a 45 offset, these stick out 17 mm more than your car as is.

See this link:

offset calculator

The H & R's are offered in 5, 15, and 20. I would go for 15. Here is a link:

H & R wheel spacer - model application page

Good luck!

haha, I was gunna ask about this awhiel ago. I have bmw wheels, and i was thinking of using them, and i thought every one would curse me for asking about spacers, or the patern change ones. Would this cause any more stress, or would it help it? I want to put the wheels i have on my car, because im having no luck selling them, but they are, 17x8.5 in front and 17x9.5 in rear.

No, I don't. Coomer is the one who said they are 8" wheels with a 35 offset. You may want to ask him to confirm and he may have info on the owner.

i would not go for those. the only ones im looking to get are the H&R's. they're pricey but thats because they are the best and most reliable. the ones on ebay look like the ones that would break. if you wanna do it right, i would definitely got with H&R's.
