I think thats what he ment, and a lot of boxes are done like that, its a lot easier and works very well. Looks pretty good, but im not a fan of just having the sub chill on the bottom like that.

look clean but i dont like a few things
it would have been nicer to see two subs rather then just one.. dont like the fact you can see the two cracks on the side either really dont like the fact the sub isnt going to sit flush with everything else its just gonna bolt on top but if he gave you a cheap price then its good |

It looks very good...
however I must say something to you... I used to have a set up like that, the box being the spare tire and it was just like yours but I had 4 MB Quart subs 10inch. It sounded like $hit. it looked beautiful and very clean but the sound sucked. I eventually changed it to a better setup.. not as good looking but better sound. that couldve been the way the box was built, or the reverb of the car, or b/c u didnt dynamat. but ive heard some nice false floor systems |

The car was a Celica hatch 89... Dynamat was not the problem... The problem was the air space... The Seakers I had were not designed to use the air space that I had on the box. The box was perfect, the air space was not. My suggestion for you is to make sure that the airspace that he has available complies with the sub he is going to install. if the airspace wasnt right then the box wasnt right. they go hand in hand. my volume cubic feet is about .9 the type R asks for .7-1.0 |

In any case good luck with your sound. This post has been edited by Ricky: Jan 6, 2005 - 7:07 PM |
