I'm kind of in the same position as you, I can't really choose a major. I think that if you find their website you should be able to access the business department and email someone who could help select some general business courses. If you need I have some friends here who are business majors and I could ask them some things if you want.
I think the MBA on or off campus refers to whether you are going to go onto your Master of Business Administration on campus during the day or if you wanted to do night classes (off campus), in case you want to get a job after your bachelors. Again, if you email someone in the department they could probably help you out some more.
BA definitly covers your 4 year degree, and I'm not sure about the credentials.

What does this mean "Education credential objective (may be in addition to major/program objective). Teacher, specialist or other service credential program:" they have applying for a credential and not interested and planning to apply for credential what are those?

I am a second semester junior and I can answer most any question college related. I really suggest getting your four year degree as it will provide you with more oppurtunity than a two year. In all honesty it doesnt really matter what you major in, just that you get a degree. I suggest taking a variety of electives so you can figure out what you like. I am majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology (I found out I only need two more classes to get it) so I mean you can try your hand at that, try your business classes, etc. If you are looking at banking or w/e I'd talk with an advisor and see what a good program would be at the state school. Maybe accounting? If your looking at taking other courses (math/science) do so. You'll probably be required to take both as degree supporting courses.

The problem with transferring is that you lose a lot of your credits. You would want to speak to someone in the registrarrrrrss office and they can let you know by your transcript then you have to get an offical one sent over. It is not a necessity to have declared a major but if you don't right away I suggest limiting yourself to gen eds because if you take a bunch of different catagories you'll start wasting time and money. What are you looking at doing in the optometry field? In order to practice you'll need more education. Usually you'd major in pre-med or something of the sort. MBA is masters of business adm. On/off campus means that if your on campus you'd live there. Off campus you'd commute to school. For the degree objective BA should work. Any other questions?

i got a question:

im at a private university now but i am no longer going to play sports next year so i dont feel the need to pay 27grand a year. Im considering transfering to Va Tech and they ask for a min. 3.0gpa for applications.

I guess my question is as a sophomore that would transfer would i have an upper hand over some freshman trying to get in? Or would i be in the same boat as them and it doesnt matter.

Sev- I'm at VT but I'm not sure of the transfer process. It is a great school, I love it down here, but it would be even better for you since its so cheap in state. I'm not sure about the transfer process, but this link should help you out.

thanks dude, so the school is fun. marymount only has about 2,300 people and is very expensive so I figured why not try and transfer to Tech. Cheap and everyone knows what Tech is when you graduate from there.

Yeah, I'm definitly glad I picked here over Penn State. Plus the campus is great and the football games are just ridiculous.
