QUOTE(turboinduction @ Feb 15, 2005 - 10:46 PM) QUOTE(madmods @ Feb 15, 2005 - 1:09 AM) I wouldn't give extreme doors a penny, since they personally ripped me off, and they are getting sued by decah latches for a copyright infringement. You might send them money......then presto bankruptucy and your out of your thousand. I believe this is the reason why the 2nd group buy was cancelled on this site. so I guess its cancelled now? hrm -Ti Didn't you bump your own thread? I also want to personally thank you for the help you promised me. Extreme doors suck! When they ripoff somebody from this site, why do business with them? Im pissed, and when the car crew does the upcoming low-rider show they are going to get the publicity they deserve. |

hey
I'm talking to him on AIM right now. I dont think they are being sued by decah. I know for a fact that I wasn't screwed before (as the one purchase I've made went through). I have been trying to help, though keep in mind you didn't purchase from me so any help I do give should be greatly appriciated. Its just me flustered when someone on your own site tries to destroy the only product you are currently selling. Keep in mind, I didn't get screwed and I did come through, and the people got their product. -Ti |

Tried to do it on my own during the weekend. Everything was fine up to the time i had to put the fenders back on. I am now fcuked up, I need to take everything off again as the door doesn't fit good and the fender doesn't either. Plus i scratched the corner of the door while trying to open the door before screwing the fender completely.
Did only the drivers door. I will probably take the car for professionally fiiting everything again. |

from having them no, you need to remove the fender to do this really...ALTHOUGH with EXTREME care and a small hand if you remove the plastic lining i think you might have like 3" of space to work with inside the fender..this will make your task VERY VERY daunting as the bolts must be loosened and then tightened several times during the adjustment of the door and original installation you would have to do with a small box wrench by hand.....personally i pitty the man who can't remove his fenders as the are pretty heavy hinges and require adjustment and so forth......good luck daniel let me know if you need anything else.............btw you can't remove your entire front in 1 piece unless your missing a good number of bolts...you have 4 bolts under the headlights plus 1 up inside the fender the headlights won't come out with out having the bumper removed so unless you are like me and found an alternative way to mount your stuff...your front won't come off in 1 large piece

we have yet to try lambo's on my celi because we put them on our mustang. But YES it will rust!!!! Our kit came from REDRUM and was a really nice kit and the guys there are really helpfull. The actual bracket hasn't rusted exept in places where we knicked it, its the nuts and bolts that have rusted really badly!

The car looks great, however the kit your using looks like a cheap Chinese rip off. Use the like below to get more information. I am concerned that there is no reinforcement of the chassis before the kit is bolted on. This would support the bolts when the doors are open in windy conditions. I also note that there is only one bolt holding the to of the hinge onto the car? I have had my lambo doors on my car for nearly two years and they are still going strong. You do not need to extend the wires as there is some slack in the wiring on the car.
