you can use it on ebay. You can set it to bid a few seconds before the auction ends.

I've won alot of auctions without using anything like this.

I'm also weary of it - you gotta provide your username and password, and I dont like that. I would never use it.

oh ok. ive been using bidnip.com for awhile and havent been having problems with them at all. try it out. and say u were referred by me (raychu@tmail.com), that way we can both get free snipes, hehe.
