Hi guys,
I havent made a lot of posts. I am so jealous of many of you on the site! I want so much for my car but my wallet is so little. Lol, anyways, my gf got my car in an acc and I had to replace the pass door and I replaced my fenders with the z3 fenders. Bought them on Cyberbest buy and they screwed me. Shipped cracked fenders and refused to send me good ones. I did fix the cracked parts and they are sturdy now. So now I have a car with yellow fenders, black body, and a blue door lol. I want to get the Vader body kit before I look into painting my car. Looking for a seller with the Vader body kit (Front and Rear bumper and sideskirts) Also, I am curious as to how to install them and what I should use to secure them to the car. A shop replaced the fenders because of the whole accident but I dont have money to have them install a body kit. So I am looking to buy a complete kit and maybe some assistance on install. Also in addition, I am going to need to paint my car. My uncle has done a couple cars but I am a little weary. I have been reading some DIY material and it seems easy enough. I feel my uncle and I could definately do a better job than a MAACO but I really have contemplated having a shop do it. It is just so expensive. Please get back asap guys! -------------------- Armed? Armed with what?
Oh I dunno, colorful language, bad breath, a feather duster...Whatta you think theyre armed with guns you tit! |

Hey -
First of all, the best deal you'll get for an invader style body kit is at visracing.com Just look under 94-99 celica. The full kit including shipping was $620 for me. They're based in California and I live in Texas. Like most body kits, it's made of fiberglass and needs a little bit of tweeking to make it look just right. I have a friend who knows how to do body work so we got that done ourselves (i'm learning, too). Also, if you want the paint job to look good, make sure you know how to do good prepwork. Sanding, priming, blocking, and sanding some more are essential to getting it to look smooth and remove imperfections. One mroe thing, unfortunately this takes a lot of money overall. Make sure you set aside about $650 for the body kit and depending on who paints your car, about $1200+ for the paint job. My friend and I will do all the labor ourselves so materials will run us about $350-$400. Hope this helps. --Bill |
