How about this, practicly the same size underpanel (maybe even bigger) made from CARBON FIBER, or KEVLAR 150$? Or Coling plate from CF or Kevlar 60$ shipped? If you guys see any interest in these, let me know or start a GB or interest tread and i will see what i can do... These of corse wount be C-one parts, they would be produced by my company... but still Doggy, I am sure there are many people here (myself included) who are and would be interested in a underpanel. The question I have is, with the carbon fibre would the structure and integrity be just as reliable? Or would i have to worry about rocks and bumps cracking/chipping/breaking it? |

I checked home depot today, no sheet metal. I also looked under my car...my exhaust is big and this might not be do-able for me...

So you thought Doggy came back again? Or did you know what happened? Actually, I had no idea he was gone. So no, unfortunately i dont know what happened, mind filling me in? I checked home depot today, no sheet metal. I also looked under my car...my exhaust is big and this might not be do-able for me... What about aluminum sheet, do you think it would hold as well as sheet metal? *Also* On your 3s do you have a 3" DP? is this why you think it may or may not work? Because i am in the middle of a swap and i have a 3" DP, so if it wont work for you, i doubt it would for me. |

You can order that underpanel from this website. Found it when googling.

unless your rallying your car, or at least driving it on dirt, this is a usless mod.
and doing it out of thin sheet metal is kind of pointless, its made to protect the underbody, not for looks. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

Plus, for someone completely modifying their car, it looks kind of sweet...

Trunk Bar for hatch ST-20 GT-4 Does anyone know if the gt4 and st-20 floor bar are cross compatible? In the pic it seems the holes for the gt4 and st20 are positioned differently. As you see in the gt4 both of the 4 floor holes are futher away from the rear end. While the st20 they are closer to the rear end. And 2 closest the the rear end are half coverred by the trim. They look cross compatible, but if anyone can confirm that would be great. And any reviews? And also if the c-one 3point front strut bar is cross compatible with st20 and gt4. And i heard there are sometimes slight differences between gt4 and st20 front strut bars on different makes as the gt4 sits higher and hits the st20 hood. As part numbers for st20 and gt4 3point strut bars are different. This post has been edited by whatthe: Sep 22, 2009 - 10:45 AM -------------------- |

i was considering buying the front underpanel and having somebody else make a rear diffuser for the back of the car. this would creat a difference in underbody air flow.
dayum this thread was made years ago. Whatthe, there is only one 3 point that is made by c-one. it was made specifecally for the gt-4 to clear the top mounted intercooler, as you can see in that pic, the 3 point is fitted on a st202 chassis. i also believe the 2 point strut brace by c-one will fit the gt-4 becuase the middle is raised to accomodate the top intercooler -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

As you said the 3 point is fitted to a st202. That would mean it would fit under a st202 bonnet...right? And not hit the bonnet when closed? -------------------- |
