When is a good time to replace a rediator, I noticed mines starting to get little creases at the top and the foam stuff is coming out from the bottom. What kind of radiator is good to replace with? Plastic, plastic aluminum, or aluminum. ON ebay the plastic can go for $59, PA for $125 and Koyo for $150+ or pay $200 at toyota! Ive only had the car for over a year but i spoil her! Just curious and any help would be appreciated.

I finally had mine go out after 270,000 miles and the first signes were the creases at the top and then finally it blow open and leaked everything out. I did replace it with an aluminum and plastic one and I love it. The temp never even changes when I am going balls out in the desert and with the A/C blasting. It didn't even flinch.

i'll recommend getting the Koyo aluminium radiator. i think it works really well, keeps the temp cooler, not alot, but still cooler. and it looks better too.
