 Got the GT!!, Good but yet bad... |

So I finally got the GT ive been planning to get...I was suprised at how much more power and torque there is in the GT...Also I dont know what but it makes this noise if I put it in the acc position with the key like a spinning turbine for just a moment after what seems to be clicks on a sensor check??...Maybe you guys know what im talking about...But anyways it needs a clutch...I test drove it a week ago and it was fine...After I received the title today I was driving back on the highway and the tach was jumping and wither the clutch is bad or the tranny is slipping...Pretty sure its just a clutch...So im gonna see tomorrow what can be done with the dealer about this...Maybe someone has their own idea of what it is??...I hope for better luck tomorrow...

Sounds like your clutch is slipping... Aint gonna be cheap for a shop to replace it.

congrats... but in the same breath... thats why i decided to get something new instead of going for another 6gc... or used car in general, especially a 15-18k dollar WRX... all of a sudden a good deal just turned into an average deal with time w/o the car.

yea i get that sound to... i never thought much of it.. its not the only car i have owned that does it... and yea change ur tranny Asap don't be like me when i got my gt... and wait till i was stuck on the turnpike for 8 hours... to have ur clutch changed...

Thanks for the answer to that sound question...But anyways I hope its just a clutch...Im pretty sure it is...Its just a matter of whos gonna pay for it...Ill know more either monday or thursday...But anyways Im happy with buying this car...I like especially the difference in torque...Bad clutch and all but it still puts the tires down...something I didnt have with the st...I think this week Ill put in the projectors if I have time...already put on the tails...Ill post pics as I go...Thanks
