My dad is a ricer for sure....

He's one of the few who thinks this is cool.....

Well... I shouldn't talk... I thought it was cool at one point too. But that was when I first got the spoiler and was excitied to finally have it after a 4 month wait....

How sad is that!? Now I cant stand the thing, and every time I bring up wanting to sell it, my dad gets mad saying "I think it looks cool! Wait till its painted, then it will look fine!"

Hmm... I dont think this could ever look good on any convertible.... Damn!

i'm sure most dads have that ricey style in them. i think it's just the old school wanting to be cool! but that wing has to go! the only car that flows right with that wing is the celica's older brother, the supra. all other cars look nasty with it. (sorry to who ever has one on their car, it's just my opinion)

I know its off-topic, but get the wing that MadMods has. That is the best looking vert wing I've seen yet on a Celica.

I was gunna say heating up the springs is old school, and it use to work well on most. My buddies step dad did it to his 67 stang, it worked well and still had nice ride.

Wow! My dad has a 69' Chevelle too! a Peice of crap tho... He began a project like 20 years ago to fix it back up and just kinda gave up on it.... So now, we have a torn apart chevelle sitting in our carport underneather a blue tarp.... He hasn't touched it in years.... My dad should sell it for parts... If they're worth anythng.... But it means too much to him for some reason... was his first car ever... I guess it understandable... I dont ever wana get rid of my first car. tongue.gif

My dad has been a muscle car guy his hole life until a few years ago when I got my Isuzu Impulse/Geo Storm, and he found out how fast it was. Then he started racing some of these new WRX's and stuff and thought that these new 4 cylinders can really fly. Now he wants to put a 4cyclinder in this old Austin drag car we've got. I've been doing some research for him to find a good engine. I'm trying to convince him to use a 3S-GTE.
