Everyone out there with convertables, Have you notice that when you go above 40MPH you can hear wind whistling through the windows.

My does it and I tried to put tape around the windows edge and it helps, but now I don't want to be driving around with a taped window. So is there any insulation or any other options?

There are things you can do. The most productive solution is to take it to a place that specializes in convertible tops and have them replace all the seals and adjust the alignment. I get very little wind noise in mine.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I have some luck with opening and the closing the windows if you have opened that door. It doesnt eliminate the problem, but it helps a bit for me.

But as said, its a vert, you have to live with it.

I will also add that the top has an adjustment where it clamps down. I had the same wind problem and adjusted the top and that helped a bit. i actually cant hear the wind because my stereo is so fooking loud.....even with the top down wink.gif

lol, i couldnt adjust mine, i noticed when i bought the car that it was possible, but the threads were all rusted so i just added cardboard to the hooks for it to clamp harder and it worked.

the window wind is unfixable if your seals are bad, and oh yea.....its a vert:P
