I'm buying an acre of land from my uncle and moving out my house. So to buy land and build a house the celica is going to be the one to take a hit. But seriously whats better, being 25-27 and having your land/house paid off and graduating from college at the same time or having the celica keeply done out. It will definitely put me in a better situation than most college kids because the land should get paid off within 2-3 years and the house shouldnt take much longer. But I still have tons of stuff to do to the land and get before I can start building. So now its time to start paying off the land and clearing out the property. O'well atleast I already got her painted and kitted....

I'm planning on working in new orleans after college. How much I'm actually going to pay for it I will easily be able to get dbl what I'm putting in. Its the luxury of buying property directly from family.

So.........if I do go somewhere else to work then I will sell and will be able to get rid of it considerly fast. & I'm going to have friends paying so that will help w/ electricity and cable.

& ontop that the land/house will gain value, money invested in the celica is only going to depreciate.....so money invested in land is more logical than car.

& I wont be paying any interest on the land 'cause I'll be paying directly to my uncle. & he wont have to pay out taxes on the land anymore after he sales it to me. *he's paying taxes because he has multiply properties and the land is doing nothing for him*

balance it out, dont be a slave to house payments.

your in a better position then me, Most of the house around here are going for 400k to 500k for a 3 bedroom piece of crap. I would have to make like $160k a year to afford to get a mortgage.

You could move to Mobile, Alabama. You can get a 4bdr house and 1 acre of land for $140,000. Then you can sell the celica and buy a jacked up truck.

You cant really go wrong with buying land and building a house. Its the only thing you can really buy, and then sell for more. Even if there was no house.

dude you have a bad outlook on life. My grandparents don't owe me anything. If they want to help me out great; if they dont that's okay I can do what I want on my own.
